Orlando B. Hanselman—The Institute Education Programs Director

An experienced banker, author and consultant, Orlando B. Hanselman joined The Institute in July 2004 as education programs director.  His duties include designing and teaching customized financial, risk management and strategic seminars, both domestically and internationally, to financial service organizations, professional banking and credit union associations, and regulatory bodies.  His areas of expertise include:

    business unit, product and customer levels

Hanselman is a member of the National Speakers Association and a top-rated speaker. He has written and delivered numerous presentations and workshops to financial institution audiences around the world.  He is a frequent speaker for the Association for Management Information in Financial Services, Bank Administration Institute, Financial Managers Society, Institute Bank - Bank of Malaysia and the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance. He has also presented to CPA, banking and credit union societies. 

Prior to joining The Institute, he led a Pennsylvania-based regional multi-bank holding company, serving first as its chief financial officer for twelve years and then as its chief executive officer for seven years.  After graduating with honors from Bucknell University in 1981, he began his career with Price Waterhouse and spent six years with its Pittsburgh banking practice.
